Follow the below steps to ensure success when completing your identity check
Get Ready
Have your physical ID document ready. Ensure you are in a well-lit room without glare or shadows to prevent your device from failing to scan the text.
It's best to do this on a mobile device if possible.
Start the check
Click the verification link sent via email or the platform you are registering with.
Switch to Mobile
If completing this on a desktop, you can often "Continue on phone" by scanning a generated QR code or entering your phone number to seamlessly finish the process on your smartphone.
Grant Camera Access
Allow your browser or the application access to your camera when prompted.
Photograph Your Document
Position your ID card or passport within the frame and take a clear, legible photo. You may be required to take photos of both the front and back of your document.
Take a Video Selfie
Position your face within the designated frame, then record a short video in which you follow the on-screen instructions and slowly turn your head left and right.
Submit
Once you are satisfied with the photos, click "Submit verification".
