When manually uploading a listing to a sales/letting department, whether it be Residential, Commercial, or Overseas, it's important that the Property details are correct so the listing meets the requirements as set out by National Trading Standards, and appears correctly on site.  

Residential sales agents

To choose the correct property details:

  1. Log in to ZooplaPro
  2. Click the Manage listings tab
  3. Click Residential sales listings
  4. Click Add listing to add a new listing, or locate and click an existing listing to edit it
  5. Scroll down to the Property details section. Choose a Property type. (These are set by Zoopla, so you can choose the most appropriate option to describe your listing)
  6. Tick the boxes for New build or Retirement home, if applicable
  7. Choose the Tenure of the property, for example, Freehold, Leasehold, Share of freehold, Commonhold, Leasehold - Shared ownership or Non Traditional. (This, and the following steps, are required fields as set out by National Trading Standards)
    1. If Non Traditional is selected, this should be used for Park Homes and Houseboats. More details can be entered in the Full description
    2. If Commonhold is selected, enter the Commonhold details
    3. If Leasehold - Shared ownership is selected, enter the Percentage ownership the purchaser will take on initially, the Rent amount, the Rent frequency and any Shared ownership details
  8. Enter the Years remaining on lease or the Lease expiry date. (If you enter both, the expiry date will take precedence)
  9. Enter the Ground Rent per annum, the Ground rent review period and the Date of next review
  10. Enter the Service Charge amount and the Service Charge frequency
  11. Choose the Council tax band for the property
    1. Tick the box for Exempt (or Not Yet Known if you selected New build earlier), if applicable. If Not Yet Known is selected, enter a Reason why
  12. Complete the remaining sections and fields if you haven't already, as set out in How to upload a listing. Then, click Save. Your changes will be live on Zoopla within the hour

Residential lettings agents

To choose the correct property details:

  1. Log in to ZooplaPro
  2. Click the Manage listings tab
  3. Click Residential letting listings
  4. Click Add listing to add a new listing, or locate and click an existing listing to edit it
  5. Scroll down to the Property details section. Choose a Property type. (These are set by Zoopla, so you can choose the most appropriate option to describe your listing)
  6. Tick the boxes for Retirement home, Room(s) in shared accommodation, Short let or Students accepted, if applicable
  7. Choose the Council tax band for the property. This is a required field as set out by National Trading Standards
    1. Tick the box for Exempt, if applicable
  8. Complete the remaining sections and fields if you haven't already, as set out in How to upload a listing. Then, click Save. Your changes will be live on Zoopla within the hour

Commercial sales agents

To choose the correct property details:

  1. Log in to ZooplaPro
  2. Click the Manage listings tab
  3. Click Commercial sales listings
  4. Click Add listing to add a new listing, or locate and click an existing listing to edit it
  5. Scroll down to the Property details section. Choose a Property type. (These are set by Zoopla, so you can choose the most appropriate option to describe your listing)
  6. If you know the business currently associated with the address is also available for sale, select the appropriate option in the Business for sale dropdown menu
  7. Complete the remaining sections and fields if you haven't already, as set out in How to upload a listing. Then, click Save. Your changes will be live on Zoopla within the hour

Commercial lettings agents

To choose the correct property details:

  1. Log in to ZooplaPro
  2. Click the Manage listings tab
  3. Click Commercial lettings listings
  4. Click Add listing to add a new listing, or locate and click an existing listing to edit it
  5. Scroll down to the Property details section. Choose a Property type. (These are set by Zoopla, so you can choose the most appropriate option to describe your listing)
  6. If you know the business currently associated with the address is also available for sale, select the appropriate option in the Business for sale dropdown menu
  7. Complete the remaining sections and fields if you haven't already, as set out in How to upload a listing. Then, click Save. Your changes will be live on Zoopla within the hour

Overseas sales agents

To choose the correct property details:

  1. Log in to ZooplaPro
  2. Click the Manage listings tab
  3. Click Overseas sales listings
  4. Click Add listing to add a new listing, or locate and click an existing listing to edit it
  5. Scroll down to the Property details section. Choose a property Category, i.e. Residential or Commercial
  6. Choose a Property type. (These are set by Zoopla, so you can choose the most appropriate option to describe your listing)
  7. Tick the boxes for New build or Retirement home, if applicable
  8. Complete the remaining sections and fields if you haven't already, as set out in How to upload a listing. Then, click Save. Your changes will be live on Zoopla within the hour
